An orange juice, please!

È qualche stagione, ormai, che gli stilisti ci propongono i colori fluo, costruendoci attorno intere collezioni. Ma optare per total look in bilico tra rosa shocking e verde acido, per me, è un po' esagerato. 

Per fortuna ci sono gli accessori!! Grandi o piccoli dettagli che accendono (letteralmente!) anche il più semplice e cupo degli outfit.

Il colore che ho scelto, in questo caso, è l'arancio. Fresco, estivo, divertente, diventa protagonista senza strafare. 

La sfumatura più chic? Di certo quella delle borse Hermès! In attesa della mia Birkin (un giorno sarà mia, lo giuro!), scelgo un look "easy", da weekend, con tanto di felpa e maxi bag.

Designers have been presenting collections full of neon colours for some seasons by now. But choosing total looks between shocking pink and acid green, according to me, is a bit too much.

Luckily, we have accessories (God save them!). Big or small details who litterally light up even the darkest and most simple outfit.

The colour I've chosen, now, is orange. Fresh, summery, funny, it becomes the absolute protagonist without exaggerating.

The smartest shade? The one which covers Hermès bags! Waiting for my Birkin (one day, it'll be mine, I swear!), I opted for an "easy" look, perfect for the weekend: just a sweatshirt and and maxi bag.

Le vetrine dei negozi e le pagine patinate dei giornali parlano. La primavera è nell'aria (anche se qui fa ancora freddo!) e protagoniste fashion di questa meravigliosa stagione saranno le stampe.

Quale migliore scusa per fare incetta di foulard di seta vintage o capi fantasia?

Io ho scovato questo carrè di Hermès in un vecchio baule e ne ho fatto un top. Mi è bastato annodarne gli angoli dietro al collo e alla schiena et voilà!

I found out this Hermès carrè in an old chest and I turned it into an hank top. To knot the edges of the foulard behind the neck and the back was enough!

Foulard Mania is in the air!

La mia sessione-esami invernale è finita. Ora, prima dell'inizio dei nuovi corsi, mi aspetta qualche giorno di vacanza che dedicherò sicuramente al blog, ma anche - e soprattutto - al relax. Dopo un periodo particolarmente impegnativo è giusto - nonché necessario - rallentare, occuparsi di ciò che è stato trascurato e di ciò che più ci sta a cuore... 

La parola d'ordine sarà Detox! Lo stress? Lo lasciamo a qualcun altro. Le rinunce? Pure. 

A inizio febbraio, poi, possiamo anche iniziare a pensare alla primavera e alle nuove tendenze. 

Ultimamente sono ossessionata dai foulard e dal loro modo magico di trasformarsi in blazer, tute palazzo, long dress... Non c'è niente di meglio delle stampe e del morbido svolazzare della seta, per pensare all'estate.

Anche per questo, forse, Etro, Gucci, Roberto Cavalli, Blumarine e Sportmax ne hanno fatto il fil rouge delle loro collezioni. 

In attesa di preparare un post dedicato esclusivamente ai carrè di Hermès, classici e intramontabili accessori fashion, pubblico queste belle foto. É ufficiale: la foulard-mania è nell'aria!

My university exams are over. Now, before the beginning of the new courses, I have some holidays. I will dedicate these days to the blog obviosly, but also - and above all - to the rest. After a hard period, to relax, slow down and care about the things we like the most is right and necessary. 

Detox is the must-do! Stress? For the others. Renounces? Too. 

February has begun and we can start to think about spring and new trends!

Recently, I'm obsessed with foulards and with their way to become blazers, long dresses, pijama pants... Nothing's better than patterns and light flying silk, to think about summer. Also for this reason, maybe, Etro, Gucci, Roberto Cavalli, Blumarine and Sportmax made them the main characters of their collections.

I'll soon write a post about Hermès carrès, classy and evergreen fashion accessories, but for now I show you these beautiful photos. Foulard mania is in the air!

Spring anticipation: sweatshirt + long skirt

I giornali di moda, in questo periodo, sono un trionfo di nuove tendenze. Sulle loro preziose pagine patinate, inediti capi e accessori da desiderare (e avere) assolutamente si susseguono senza sosta. Segno che pensare all'inverno, cioè la stagione attualmente in corso (almeno in questa parte dell'emisfero!), è inutile e retrogrado: l'imperativo è "guardare avanti", e più precisamente alla prossima primavera-estate.

Nonostante mi sia un po' difficile immaginarmi bikini e ad abiti leggeri nel rigore di questi giorni (brrrr!), vengo folgorata da un look avvistato su Glamour (ITA) di febbraio. 

Protagonista è la felpa. Over, decorata e iperfemminile, portata sulla lunga gonna plissettata.

Fashion magazines, these days, are full of new trends, items and accessories to desire (and make ours) immediately! This is the sign that thinking to winter, the actual season (at least in our emisphere!), is unuseful and retrograde: the must-do is looking forward, precisely at the next spring-summer.

Though, this period, it's very cold and it's not easy for me to think about bikinis and light clothes, I fell in love with a look, posted on Glamour ITA of February.

The protagonist is the sweatshirt: over, decorated and superchic on the long pleated skirt.

Pantone 17-5641

Pantone è stata chiara: il 17-5641 è il colore del 2013. Questo codice vi dice poco? Indica semplicemente lo smeraldo, la nobile e vibrante sfumatura di verde, assoluta protagonista di queste foto di moda, che ci accompagnerà per tutto l'anno.
Tornata in auge, già da qualche anno, col diverso nome di "verde petrolio", questa tinta ha conquistato tutti, fino ad arrivare, dritta dritta, sulle passerelle di alta moda.
Gli stilisti, per la primavera-estate, infatti, non hanno esitato neanche un momento a scegliere lo smeraldo come filo conduttore delle proprie collezioni.
Nessun tessuto, drappeggio, decoro o texture ne è immune: pure la pelle si tinge di verde, dando forma a blouson over e gonne a matita, per Sportmax, e ad accessori dall'allure classica, come la tracolla da postino, per Gucci.  
Chissà perchè la scelta di Pantone è ricaduta proprio sul 17-5641... Perchè il verde è il colore della speranza? Perchè in tempi di crisi si rinuncia alle pietre preziose ma ne si portano le sfumature sugli abiti? Strategie di marketing? Nessuno probabilmente lo saprà mai, ma indosserà dei capi in tinta. Questo è poco, ma sicuro.

This colour conquered everyone, until it reached haute couture catwalks.
Designers, for this spring-summer season, in fact, have never hesitated to choose emerald as main colour of their collections.
No one fabric, texture, decoration is immune to it: even leather becomes green, giving shape to jackets and pencil-skirts, for Sportmax, and to rètro accessories, like the postman's satchel, for Gucci.
Who knows why Pantone chose 17-5641... Maybe because green is the colour of hope? Because in crisis times we renounce to precious jems, but not to their shades? Marketing strategies? Probably no one will ever know it, but he/she will wear emerald items. For sure.

My 2013 only one resolution... without forgetting fashion!

Buon anno a tutti!!
Lo so, vi faccio gli auguri in ritardo, ma lo studio (nonostante le vacanze) mi ha tenuto piuttosto impegnata.
Per il 2013, non intendo stilare una lunga lista di buoni propositi. Non riuscirei mai a portarli tutti a termine né ci proverei.
Preferisco invece pormi un solo obiettivo: vivere con più leggerezza. Chi mi conosce bene sa che, per me, fare ciò sarà tutto fuorché facile, ma voglio tentare ugualmente.
Non sarà fine o bon ton, ma la mia espressione-chiave del 2013 sarà: "me ne frego". Di ciò che gli altri possono pensare di me, di non essere sempre all'altezza delle situazioni, delle critiche apparentemente costruttive, ma che in realtà fanno solo male dentro. Imperativo categorico? Frequentare solo le persone che mi fanno stare veramente bene, in compagnia delle quali il tempo corre via veloce. Perchè perdere attimi preziosi con gente di cui non c'interessa e arreca solo fastidi e malumori?? Quest'anno non ci sto: fine delle recite.
Come far fronte a tutte queste problematiche?? Con la moda, naturalmente.
Gli stilisti, per la prossima primavera-estate, hanno presentato collezioni in perfetto accordo col mio discorso.
Albert Ferretti ha vestito le sue modelle di tessuti leggeri e preziosi che fluttuano nell'aria ad ogni passo. Gucci riporta in auge il color block, declinandolo in tinte vivacissime su ogni capo, di cui sono protagonisti scenografici volants.
Assolutamente nuovi ed inediti sono, invece, i colori sorbetto della linea di borse Rockstud di Valentino e lo stile giocoso firmato da Karl Lagerfeld per Chanel.
In fondo, cosa c'è di meglio della moda per prendersi meno sul serio e cercare di immedesimarsi in un'altra persona? Nulla, ma se lo si può fare con una micro-clutch lego inspired sotto il segno della doppia C...

Happy New Year to everyone!!
I know, I make you my greetings in late, but, unluckily, study doesn't make me rest even on holiday!!
For the 2013, I don't want to write a long resolutions list. I'd never be able to bring them to an end.
I just have one purpose: to take it easier. Who knows me knows perfectly how difficult this could be for me, but I want to try as well.
My key espression for 2013 will be "I don't care". About what people think of me, of being always the best in every occasion or about the bad disapprovals that just make me feel wrong. The must-do? Stay only with the people who actually make me feel good, the ones that make the time run away fast. So, just the important ones. Stop acting!
How to solve these problems? With fashion, obviously!
Designers, for the 2013 spring-summer season, have presented collections on the same line of my discourse.
Alberta Ferretti has worn her models with light and precious patterns which fly in the air at every step.
Gucci focuses on color block style. The protagonists of this collection are intense colours and volants.
Also the colurs of the Rockstud accessory line by Valentino and the game style by Kar Lagerfeld for chanel are absolutely new.
What, better than fashion, does allow you to live more lightly and to try to be another person? Nothing, but a lego-inspired micro-clutch by the double C can help a lot more....

Rebecca Minkoff spring/summer 2013

Rebecca Minkoff spring/summer 2013 collection reflects perfectly my idea of  holiday and relax these seasons make me think about.

Fresh fabrics and light colours are the true leaders of this runway.

The first outfit I've chosen makes me wonder about a travel to a Greek island lost in the Mediterranean Sea. The white colour and the wide shape are perfect under the strong sun that shines above those territories, lands covered by little and, obviously, white.

Another important item for these seasons is the shirt, a blouse declined in many different ways. The best one? This short and embroidered dress, perfect with a little bag like this one.

At the end, my favourite look. It's completea and it seems easy: a sweatshirt and some lace are enough! Sporty-chic style is perfect for summer in the cities: you'd never feel wrong and out of place, this way. City doesn't mean seaside and Rebecca Minkoff knows it!

PS: have you noticed make up and hair?? Simply perfect! When it's hot, in fact, a face covered by make up is totally out of place. Less is more. What's simple is the best. So don't forget to set your hair free, wearing your beautiful smile and go out. But remember that everything is funnier with a light or a shocking nail colur.
