FW front row inspiration

Dopo New York, Londra e Milano, questa settimana tocca a Parigi ospitare gli eventi fashion più cool e attesi dell'anno.
Le sfilate delle collezioni autunno-inverno 2013-2014 sono in corso e il web e gli addetti ai lavori sono in fermento. Immortalare i prossimi trend è una questione di vita o di morte.
Ma le modelle in passerella non sono le uniche sotto i riflettori.
Le vere protagoniste si confondono tra il pubblico variopinto (e super vip!) che affolla i front row.
Sono quelle creature quasi magiche in grado, solamente con il proprio look, di far passare lo show in secondo piano. Quelle che i blogger sgomitano per fotografare. Sono modelle off-duty, attrici, fashion editor, it girls... Chiamatele come volete, ma sono loro le vere icone del nostro tempo, nonchè assolute protagoniste di questi eventi.
Quest'anno, tuttavia, qualcosa in loro stona. Come si fa, dico io, a posare a -10 gradi senza calze in abiti corti e leggeri? E magari sotto qualche fiocco di neve che cade per completare il quadro?
Va bene che, in questi casi, una fashion icon che si rispetti è tenuta ad indossare pezzi delle collezioni della prossima primavera-estate, perchè la stagione corrente è ormai out, ma non sarà troppo? Sono d'accordo con Garance Dorè: non è per niente "trending" indossare abiti inappropriati all'occasione. Così come non lo è affatto battere i denti davanti all'ingresso di una sfilata!!
Il freddo è un ostacolo che in questi casi si può tranquillamente aggirare!
Bastano un pizzico di stile e molta fantasia.
Tessuti morbidi e preziosi in cui avvolgerci, come in un caldo abbraccio, ce ne sono a bizzeffe. Saperli mixare ed accostare nel modo giusto è la sfida!

After New York, London and Milan, this week, the coolest and most waited fashion events of the year
take place in Paris.
2013-2014 fall-winter collections fashion shows are on and bloggers and journalists have one aim: to take note of the next trends!
Although, models on catwalks are not the only under the spotlights.
The true protagonists are among the public which crowds front rows.
They're those almost magic creatures who can make the shows be overshadowed with their outfit only. The ones bloggers would kill to take pictures of. They're off-duty models, actresses, fashion editors, it girls... Call them as you prefer: they're the true icons of our time.
This year, though, something isn't right with them. To pose wearing just light and short dresses (without tights!), under the snowfall, is for mad people!! To wear the next season collections (2013 spring-summer) is a must-do, but this is too much!! I agree with Garance Dorè: to wear inappropriately is not "trending". Such as teeth-chattering in front of a fashion show entrance!!
Cold is an easy to move around obstacle. You just need style and fantasy.
Soft and precious patterns which hug us exist. The goal is to mix them in the best way!!

Black diamond

"Diamonds are a girl's best friend", cantava Marilyn Monroe nel film "Gentlemen prefer blondes". Non potrei essere più d'accordo. 

Le perle sono un classico e non passano mai di moda, ma che noia! 

Lo smeraldo è il supertrend del 2013, ma siamo sicure che il prossimo anno non finirà nel dimenticatoio? 

Lo zaffiro fa tanto (troppo) William & Kate. 

Insomma, è più che evidente: non esiste gemma più preziosa e senza tempo del diamante. 

Indistruttibile, incolore e accostabile a qualsiasi gusto, è il sogno (non troppo) segreto di qualsiasi donna. Nessuna, neanche la più scettica, che, per darsi un tono, davanti a un gioiello è solita inorridire, può resistervi. 

Nonostante sia la pietra preziosa più cara del mondo, la moda ci viene incontro, permettendo proprio a tutte di brillare. Bijoux super fake, incrostazioni di cristalli qua e là e total look glitter sono capaci, infatti, di illuminare anche il più semplice e cupo dei look.  

Prendete il mio outfit, ad esempio. Senza i mega strass applicati, sarebbe insipido e insignificante. 

Non bisogna comunque esagerare. Un'altra icona del passato, Audrey Hepburn, in "Breakfast at Tiffany's", sosteneva, infatti, che i diamanti sotto i 40 facessero cafona... 

Giudicate voi, ma non smettete mai di brillare!

Pearls are chic and elegant, but how boring!

Emerald is the super trend of 2013, but are we completely sure we won't forget it next year?

Sapphire is too much William & Kate style.

So it's more than clear: there's not a more precious and evergreen jem than diamond.

Indestructible, colourless and great with every style, it is the (not too) secret dream of every woman. No one, even the most skeptical, who uses to be horrified in front of a jewel, can't resist to it.

Even if it's the most expensive precious jem in the world, fashion helps us, allowing everyone to shine.

Super fake bijoux, crystals applications and glittered total looks are able to illuminate also the most simple and dark of the outfits.

Look at mine, for example. Without the bling decoration, it would be insignificant.

We can't exaggerate, though. Another icon of the past, Audrey Hepburn, in "Breakfast at Tiffany's", said, in fact, diamonds are vulgar before the 40s...

Judge by yourself, but never stop sparkling!

Foulard Mania is in the air!

La mia sessione-esami invernale è finita. Ora, prima dell'inizio dei nuovi corsi, mi aspetta qualche giorno di vacanza che dedicherò sicuramente al blog, ma anche - e soprattutto - al relax. Dopo un periodo particolarmente impegnativo è giusto - nonché necessario - rallentare, occuparsi di ciò che è stato trascurato e di ciò che più ci sta a cuore... 

La parola d'ordine sarà Detox! Lo stress? Lo lasciamo a qualcun altro. Le rinunce? Pure. 

A inizio febbraio, poi, possiamo anche iniziare a pensare alla primavera e alle nuove tendenze. 

Ultimamente sono ossessionata dai foulard e dal loro modo magico di trasformarsi in blazer, tute palazzo, long dress... Non c'è niente di meglio delle stampe e del morbido svolazzare della seta, per pensare all'estate.

Anche per questo, forse, Etro, Gucci, Roberto Cavalli, Blumarine e Sportmax ne hanno fatto il fil rouge delle loro collezioni. 

In attesa di preparare un post dedicato esclusivamente ai carrè di Hermès, classici e intramontabili accessori fashion, pubblico queste belle foto. É ufficiale: la foulard-mania è nell'aria!

My university exams are over. Now, before the beginning of the new courses, I have some holidays. I will dedicate these days to the blog obviosly, but also - and above all - to the rest. After a hard period, to relax, slow down and care about the things we like the most is right and necessary. 

Detox is the must-do! Stress? For the others. Renounces? Too. 

February has begun and we can start to think about spring and new trends!

Recently, I'm obsessed with foulards and with their way to become blazers, long dresses, pijama pants... Nothing's better than patterns and light flying silk, to think about summer. Also for this reason, maybe, Etro, Gucci, Roberto Cavalli, Blumarine and Sportmax made them the main characters of their collections.

I'll soon write a post about Hermès carrès, classy and evergreen fashion accessories, but for now I show you these beautiful photos. Foulard mania is in the air!

Pantone 17-5641

Pantone è stata chiara: il 17-5641 è il colore del 2013. Questo codice vi dice poco? Indica semplicemente lo smeraldo, la nobile e vibrante sfumatura di verde, assoluta protagonista di queste foto di moda, che ci accompagnerà per tutto l'anno.
Tornata in auge, già da qualche anno, col diverso nome di "verde petrolio", questa tinta ha conquistato tutti, fino ad arrivare, dritta dritta, sulle passerelle di alta moda.
Gli stilisti, per la primavera-estate, infatti, non hanno esitato neanche un momento a scegliere lo smeraldo come filo conduttore delle proprie collezioni.
Nessun tessuto, drappeggio, decoro o texture ne è immune: pure la pelle si tinge di verde, dando forma a blouson over e gonne a matita, per Sportmax, e ad accessori dall'allure classica, come la tracolla da postino, per Gucci.  
Chissà perchè la scelta di Pantone è ricaduta proprio sul 17-5641... Perchè il verde è il colore della speranza? Perchè in tempi di crisi si rinuncia alle pietre preziose ma ne si portano le sfumature sugli abiti? Strategie di marketing? Nessuno probabilmente lo saprà mai, ma indosserà dei capi in tinta. Questo è poco, ma sicuro.

This colour conquered everyone, until it reached haute couture catwalks.
Designers, for this spring-summer season, in fact, have never hesitated to choose emerald as main colour of their collections.
No one fabric, texture, decoration is immune to it: even leather becomes green, giving shape to jackets and pencil-skirts, for Sportmax, and to rètro accessories, like the postman's satchel, for Gucci.
Who knows why Pantone chose 17-5641... Maybe because green is the colour of hope? Because in crisis times we renounce to precious jems, but not to their shades? Marketing strategies? Probably no one will ever know it, but he/she will wear emerald items. For sure.
