Kristina Ti Spring/Summer 2014 at MFW

The invitation to the show

Giovani donne di ritorno da una festa in giardino. Morbidi tessuti svolazzanti. Fantasie floreali. Pizzi e inserti in lurex che rendono gli abiti cangianti. Tinte tenui e forme rétro. 

Sono questi gli ingredienti della collezione primavera/estate 2014 che Kristina Ti ha presentato, il 19 settembre, al Museo della Permanente, durante la Settimana della Moda di Milano. 

Abiti in leggero voile di seta che scivolano sulla pelle, applicazioni in macramè e ricami su top e camicette, innocenti trasparenze e increspature di luce iridescenti.

La primavera/estate 2014 ci vorrà libere, coi capelli scompigliati e appena un filo di trucco. 

Figlie dei fiori o personaggi onirici, vivremo la prossima stagione con leggerezza.

Young women on their way back home from a garden party. Soft fluttering fabrics. Flower patterns. Lace and lurex inserts which light up the clothes. Subtle colours and retro shapes.

These are the ingredients of the 2014 Spring/Summer collection by Kristina Ti, presented, on the 19th September, at Museo della Permanente, during Milan Fashion Week.

Light voile dresses which caress the skin, lace applications and embroideries on blouses and tops, innocent trasparencies and lightning decorations. 

2014 Spring/Summer will want us free, with ruffle hair and nude make up.

Hippies or dream characters, the next season we will shrug it off.

Questo è, in assicuro, uno dei miei outfit preferiti. Nessun altro, dei look di questo blog, può essergli paragonato. "Perchè?", direte. Non è né elegante nè troppo particolare o ricercato... 

Mi piace perchè è un compendio perfetto dei capi e degli accessori a cui sono più legata.

La giacchina senza collo alla Coco in felpa, per esempio, è per me un vero passe-partout: ne ho diverse (posso quasi affermare di possederne una collezione!) e le abbino sempre su tutto e in mille modi. Sono come una seconda pelle per me! [Guarda anche questo post.]  

Che dire dei top decorati con perline o strass? Indossando uno di questi si è perfette e non serve altro (fili e fili di collane sarebbero solo fuori posto!!). Inoltre, sono ideali per chi viaggia. Mettendone uno in valigia, infatti, si fa la scelta vincente: non si rischia che preziosi gioielli appesantiscano il bagaglio o, peggio, vadano persi. Fidatevi: un capo come questo è un investimento fortunato. [Guarda anche questo post.]   

Della mia amata Falabella di Stella McCartney ho sicuramente già parlato: la adoro! [Guarda anche questo post.] Non mi resta, quindi, che rivolgere le mia attenzione ai miei immancabili bracciali d'argento. Li porto praticamente sempre ed ognuno è legato ad un avvenimento speciale.

This is one of my favourite outfits at all. No other of this blog is better for me. "Why?", you would say. It's neither elegant nor particularly glamourous... I like it because it's a perfect synthesis of the items and the accessories I love the most. 

The little Coco inspired jacket, for example, is a real passe-partout for me: I've got some (almost a collection, actually!) and I always wear it on everything in very different ways. They're like a second skin for me!! [Look also this post.]  

What about the crystals and pearls embroidered hank tops? Wearing one of them, you don't need anything else to be perfect. They're also ideal for travellers. Putting one in your suitcase, you would do the right choice: you wouldn't risk to have a too heavy luggage or, worse, to lose your precious jewels. Trust me: an item like this is a lucky investment. Look also this post.]   

I've surely already talked about my beloved  Falabella by Stella McCartney bag : I adore it! [Look also this post.] At the end, my attention focuses on my silver bracelets. I almost always wear them and everyone is bound to a special occasion.

Just a leopard touch...

Premettendo che considero l'animalier all over un'esagerazione e un affronto al buon gusto, non penso ci sia niente di male nell'adottare un tocco wild nei propri look. Anche se questa scelta, poco tempo fa, poteva provocare smorfie di disapprovazione nelle rigorose signorine perbene, ora non sconvolge affatto. Anzi, la  celebre stampa leopardo è diventata un classico (come il camouflage, per intenderci).

Lo ammetto: ho comprato queste ballerine circa due anni fa e non ho mai avuto il coraggio di indossarle (chissà perchè poi!). Ora, però, è arrivato il tempo di tirare fuori gli artigli (è il caso di dirlo).

In fondo, l'animalier può essere facilmente smorzato. Da un jeans e un trench, per esempio, capi di cui non posso fare proprio a meno! Per non parlare del pizzo. Cosa c'è di più femminile e romantico del pizzo per addolcire un outfit altrimenti troppo wild o sportivo?

Granted that, according to me, animalier style all over is an exaggeration and an affront to good taste, I don't think adopting a wild touch in your own looks is a bag thing. Despite, some years ago, this choice could cause disfavour in respectable girls, nowadays, it doesn't shock anyone. On the contrary, leopard pattern has become a classic item (exactly like camouflage).       

I admit it: I bought these flats about two years ago and I've never been enough brave to wear them (I don't even know why!). Now, though, the time to dare has come!

Animalier pattern is easy to dim. With a good pair of jeans or a trench, for example, items which can't miss in a Torisienne's wardrobe! And what about lace? Is there a more girlish and romantic than it to make sweetier too wild or sporty outfits?
