Crop top + camouflage skirt

Chi mi conosce bene o segue il mio blog, ormai, lo sa. Il camouflage, per me, è una costante. 

Pantaloni, sciarpe, piumini, felpe, borse, gonne... Potete farmi il nome di qualsiasi accessorio-moda: sicuramente, è riposto nel mio armadio in versione mimetica. 

Siete, però, fuori strada se pensate che, in passato, abbia mai avuto intenzione di arruolarmi nell'esercito. Non sarebbe proprio l'ambiente adatto a me, temo.

Ormai, come ho già scritto in vari post, il camouflage è diventato un classico. Nemmeno i serissimi smoking da uomo ne sono immuni (vedi Lapo Elkann).

La vera novità, non proprio nel mio stile, in realtà, è il crop top, che lascia scoperto qualche centimetro di pancia (ma non l'ombelico, per carità!). Usatissimo dalle trendsetter di tutto il mondo, ha riportato in voga la moda dell'addome al vento. Se ne sentiva davvero la mancanza? Non saprei. Nel dubbio, un consiglio: non esagerate, mai!

My friends or who follows my blog know it well. Camouflage is one of my permanent features.

Trousers, scarves, duvet coats, hoodies, bags, skirts... You can make the name of any fashion accessory: I surely have it in camo version in my wardrobe. 

You'd make a mistake, though, if you thought I ever had the wish to enlist into the army. That wouldn't be my natural habitat, I'm afraid.

Nowadays, as I already wrote in some posts, camouflage has become a classic item. Even the serious suits for men have been covered by this pattern (Lapo Elkann teaches).

The rala news, not properly in my style, actually, is the crop top, which lets few centimetres of abdomen naked (but cover your belly-button, please!). Used a lot by trendsetters all over the world, it got the trend of naked stomaches glamour again. Did we really miss it? I don't know, but I give you an advice: don't exaggerate, never!

La Torisienne above the sea of fog

Vento che agita le acque, pioggia incessante che, ticchettando, scandisce il tempo, freddo umido che ti entra nelle ossa, sguardo perso e impotenza di fronte alla tempesta... Questo è ciò che si percepisce davanti al mare d'inverno. Una muto e inquieto senso d'inferiorità rispetto ad un panorama selvaggio che neanche il "Viandante sul mare di nebbia" di Friedrich... 

Peccato che non sia più inverno. 

Peccato che il Romanticismo sia un periodo artistico ormai passato. 

Peccato, soprattutto, che queste cattive condizioni del tempo abbiano compromesso il ponte del 25 aprile per la maggior parte degli italiani...

Nonostante le digressioni sul meteo, che, ahimè, non possiamo ancora controllare, ecco un outfit nuovo nuovo. Questa volta, oltre ad alcuni accessori inediti, c'è una novità. Un occhio (è il caso di dirlo) in più al make-up. 

Spero che l'effetto smoky eyes blu che volevo creare vi piaccia..

Winds which trouble waters, rain ticking time like a clock, humid cold which passes through you like a knife, powerlessness in front of a storm... This is what you can feel on a beach in winter. A silent and anxious inferiority complex as opposed to a wild enviroment like the one felt by the "Wanderer above the sea of fog" by Friedrich...

It's a pity that we're not in winter anymore.

It's a pity that Romanticism is an artistic period passed and buried by now.

It's a pity, above all, that these bad weather conditions have ruined the 25th April long weekend to most Italian people...

Despite my digressions on weather, that nowadays we still can't control, here it is a new outfit. This time, besides some accessories, there's another news. A special consideration for make-up.

I hope you like the blue smoky eyes effect I tried to create.

Camo friends...

Qui in montagna il clima è polare.
Quello appena passato è stato dichiarato il weekend più freddo della stagione, e a ragione.
Le soluzioni, in questi casi, sono due: imbacuccarsi come omini Michelin e sfidare il grande freddo o rimanere in casa al calduccio e trovare passatempi (divertenti) alternativi.
Eccone uno: giocare a fare le modelle con le amiche! XD (Non scuotete la testa: ogni ragazza l'ha provato almeno una volta!)
Io e Alma abbiamo scelto look comodi e contraddistinti dal camouflage print.

Here in the mountains, the climate is freezing.
The just passed weekend has been declared the coldest of all the season, and properly.
In these situations, there are two solutions: to cover up as Michelin men or to stay warm at home and think about (funny) different pastimes.
Here is one: becoming models with friends! XD (Don't say no: every girl tried it almost one time!)
Alma and I chose comfortable looks. The main character? The camouflage print.

La marinière

Da sempre adoro la marinière, la maglietta di cotone a righe bianche e blu. La si porta su tutto, in ogni occasione. Questo è uno di quei capi che non può mai mancare nell’armadio di una Torisienne. Infatti è un passpartout.
Ovviamente possedevo la classica Petit Bateau, ma, purtroppo, un lavaggio sfortunato mi ha costretto ad eliminarla. Per di più, negli store del marchio francese non ne ho più trovata una uguale. Ma ci credete??
Per fortuna, ho scovato questa t-shirt di Ralph Lauren Denim & Supply che faceva al caso mio e non me la sono lasciata scappare.
Apparirà scontato, ma qual posto migliore per indossarla se non al mare e magari al tramonto di ritorno da una gita in barca?

I’ve always loved  la marinière, the t-shirt with white and blue stripes. You can put it on everything, anytime. This is one of the garments which can never miss in a Torisienne’s wardrobe. In fact it’s a passpartout.
Obviously, I had the classical Petit Bateau t-shirt, but a bad wash made me throw it away. What’s more, I’ve never found another similar again, in the stores of the French brand. Impossible, isn’t it??
Luckily, I’ve found out this Ralph Lauren Denim & Supply t-shirt which was perfect and I immediately bought it.
Maybe it’s obvious, but is there a place, where to wear la marinière, better than the seaside or than a yacht at the sunset?
