Black and lace - La Tesoriera

Un'infinita serie di impegni mi ha tenuta lontana, per tutto questo tempo (troppo!), dal blog. Ma ora sono finalmente libera di tornare a dedicarmici come desidero.
Queste foto sono state scattate nell'incantevole cornice del Parco della Tesoriera, a Torino (ça va sans dire!), in un momento di tregua tra un temporale e un'ondata di caldo africano. -.-
Ho scelto un outfit fresco e comodo, perfetto, secondo me, per questo periodo. Perchè, nonostante le alte temperature, dobbiamo ricordare che rimaniamo sempre in città: non siamo ancora al mare!!

I've been very busy the month which just passed, but, now, at last, I'm free to come back working on my blog again.
These photos have been taken in Parco della Tesoriera, in Turin (ça va sans dire!), in a little break between storms and African heat waves. -.-
I chose a light and comfortable outfit, that's perfect for this period, according to me. In fact, despite the heat, we mustn't forget we're still in a city, not yet at the seaside!!

Halloween night..

                              

Quando penso alla notte di Halloween, la prima cosa che mi viene in mente non è certo un' orda di mostri spaventosi e streghe cattive. 

Quello a cui penso è più sereno. L'atmosfera che creano le zucche intagliate con all'interno una candela accesa, l'autunno che si prepara a lasciare il posto all'inverno, le foglie secche cadute per terra. Senza dimenticare quei party super esclusivi in cui ci si può trasformare in altre persone e vivere una notte magica. Questo non implica comunque la metamorfosi in esseri brutti e malvagi. Perchè trascurare la bellezza a favore dell'orrido? Una mascherina in pizzo, un make up scenografico o anche solo un dettaglio (labbra nere, per esempio) e il gioco è fatto.

When I think about the Halloween night, I don't think immediately to scary monsters and naughty witches.

What I think about is more quiet. The atmosphere created by the lightning pumpkins, autumn that turns into winter, leaves fallen on the ground. Without forgetting those amazing parties in which, for just one night, you can be another person. Don't turn you into an ugly and bad being!! Why forgetting beauty?? A lace mask, a scenographic make up or just a detail (like black lips) and you'd be perfect.

Lace + denim, my last summer days in the city

In queste ultime giornate d'estate e di sole (già, qui a Torino il tempo peggiorerà presto), di vestirmi con la mia solita divisa "giacca-maglietta-skinny jeans" non ne ho proprio voglia. Questo è il mio ultimo weekend di vacanza, mio malgrado, e ho deciso di optare per un look più spensierato e easy. Senza dimenticare, però, che al mare non ci sono più :( .  

Al posto dei sandali o delle strausate Havaianas, ecco un bel paio di Car Shoe, più leggere di una sneakers e più comode di una ballerina. Gonna corta? Sì, ma accompagnata da una camicia di denim leggero, sportiva, ma ingentilita da un collier-bijoux vintage. Occhiali da sole neri (ma velvety!) e una borsa di media grandezza ma super glamourous, completano il tutto.

In these last sunny summer days in Turin, I really don't want to wear my usual city-uniform, "blazer-T-shirt-skinny jeans". This is my last weekend of holiday, unluckily, and I've decided to choose an easier look. Without forgetting that I'm not anymore at the seaside. 

Instead of sandals or the superused Havaianas, I wear a pair of Car Shoe. lighter than a sneaker and more comfortable than a flat. Mini skirt? Yes, but with a denim shirt, sporty, but made girlish by the vintage necklace. In the end, black sunglasses (but velvety!) and a superglamourous bag make the rest.
