Focus on bijoux: bracelets on my Instagram

Cos'è una fotografia? Un fermo immagine del tempo che, veloce e inafferabile, scorre inesorabilmente. Uno scatto rubato. Un momento che rimane impresso per sempre nella memoria di chi guarda...

Per questo, trovo Instagram una grande invenzione. Meno romantico ed effetto delle istantanee Polaroid, ma, diciamolo, questo passa il convento e noi ci adeguiamo.

Sono solo le immagini a parlare. Non stati inutili che nessuno ha intenzione di leggere, non scomodi link che si aprono a fatica: solo ritratti, sfondi, panorami.

I miei "soggetti" preferiti sono i polsi, o meglio, i braccialetti che li adornano.

Il mio amore per i bijoux è, ormai, cosa nota e, per questo, posto qui di seguito una selezione degli scatti che mi piacciono di più.

What's a photo? An image of the time that, fast and fleeting, goes by. A stolen snapshot. A moment which stays forever in the memories of who looks...

For this reason, I love Instagram. Less romantic and striking than Polaroid snapshots, but this is what our time offers and we adapt to it.

Just pictures speak. Not unuseful posts which no one wants to read, not slow and odd links: just portraits, backgrounds, views.

My favourite subjects are my wrists, or better, the bracelets on them!!

My love for jewels and bijoux is well known and, for this, I post below a selection of the shots I like the most from my Instagram account.

La Torisienne above the sea of fog

Vento che agita le acque, pioggia incessante che, ticchettando, scandisce il tempo, freddo umido che ti entra nelle ossa, sguardo perso e impotenza di fronte alla tempesta... Questo è ciò che si percepisce davanti al mare d'inverno. Una muto e inquieto senso d'inferiorità rispetto ad un panorama selvaggio che neanche il "Viandante sul mare di nebbia" di Friedrich...

Peccato che non sia più inverno.

Peccato che il Romanticismo sia un periodo artistico ormai passato.

Peccato, soprattutto, che queste cattive condizioni del tempo abbiano compromesso il ponte del 25 aprile per la maggior parte degli italiani...

Nonostante le digressioni sul meteo, che, ahimè, non possiamo ancora controllare, ecco un outfit nuovo nuovo. Questa volta, oltre ad alcuni accessori inediti, c'è una novità. Un occhio (è il caso di dirlo) in più al make-up.

Spero che l'effetto smoky eyes blu che volevo creare vi piaccia..

Winds which trouble waters, rain ticking time like a clock, humid cold which passes through you like a knife, powerlessness in front of a storm... This is what you can feel on a beach in winter. A silent and anxious inferiority complex as opposed to a wild enviroment like the one felt by the "Wanderer above the sea of fog" by Friedrich...

It's a pity that we're not in winter anymore.

It's a pity that Romanticism is an artistic period passed and buried by now.

It's a pity, above all, that these bad weather conditions have ruined the 25th April long weekend to most Italian people...

Despite my digressions on weather, that nowadays we still can't control, here it is a new outfit. This time, besides some accessories, there's another news. A special consideration for make-up.

I hope you like the blue smoky eyes effect I tried to create.

Warm remix

Questo weekend di sole è un'eccezione. Per la prossima settimana, a Torino come nel resto d'Italia, si attendono, infatti, giornate grigie, freddo pungente e abbondanti nevicate.

Ecco che allora parka e cappottini in montone caldissimi dovranno aspettare ancora un po' prima di essere riposti negli armadi.

Io adoro accostare stili diversi e per questo look ho scelto di accompagnare il parka di Zara con due accessori in apparente contrasto con il rigore e la praticità di questo capo: la iconica Speedy bag di Louis Vuitton e una morbidissima pashmina-foulard di Hermès.

Li preferite insieme al montoncino cioccolato??

This sunny weekend is just an exception. Next week, in Turin but also in the rest of Italy, days will be foggy, cold and snowy.

I'm sorry to tell you, but it's too early to put into your wardrobes parkas and fur coats. I know, it's sad.

For this look, I chose to match the Zara parka with two accessories which normally aren't used with this sporty item: the iconic Speedy bag by Louis Vuitton and a supersoft pashmina-foulard by Hermès. You already know I love fashion remixes.

Foulard mania #2 - The top

Le vetrine dei negozi e le pagine patinate dei giornali parlano. La primavera è nell'aria (anche se qui fa ancora freddo!) e protagoniste fashion di questa meravigliosa stagione saranno le stampe.

Quale migliore scusa per fare incetta di foulard di seta vintage o capi fantasia?

Io ho scovato questo carrè di Hermès in un vecchio baule e ne ho fatto un top. Mi è bastato annodarne gli angoli dietro al collo e alla schiena et voilà!

Shop windows and magazines pages speak loudly. Spring is in the air (even if it's still cold here!) and patterns will be the protagonists of the next amazing season.

Which better occasion to look for vintage silk foulard or patterned items?

I found out this Hermès carrè in an old chest and I turned it into an hank top. To knot the edges of the foulard behind the neck and the back was enough!
