Who run the world? Girls!!

Oggi è l'8 marzo. La festa della donna.

Per tutta la giornata non si parlerà d'altro. Preparatevi!

I nostri diritti, il nostro lavoro, le nostre vite sempre più indipendenti... Questi saranno gli argomenti di punta. Tutti bei discorsi che dureranno 24 ore o poco più.

Già da domani, infatti, tutto tornerà come prima. Continueremo ad essere pagate meno degli uomini, ad essere viste sempre prima come oggetto che come testa pensante, ad essere maltrattate persino da chi dice di amarci... 

Non si potrà fare nulla per contenere le ondate di ipocrisia provenienti da giornali e tg sul nostro conto o per dimenticare le tante (troppe!) vittime di un mondo ingiusto e barbaro. Ma, forse, potremmo mettere in pratica qualcosa per cambiare il futuro che ci aspetta. Questo sì.

Cautelarci di più; scegliere di frequentare solo le persone giuste e che ci fanno stare veramente bene; perdonare di meno; pretendere di più, perché si vive solo una volta e si deve vivere al meglio; essere meno succubi di una mentalità retrograda e maschilista che ci annienta da secoli, ma che non sembra estinguersi mai; farci aiutare se siamo in difficoltà; imparare ad essere più egoiste; farci desiderare...

Abbiamo tutti gli strumenti necessari, i numeri sono dalla nostra parte (sulla Terra ci sono più donne che uomini): insieme ce la possiamo fare. 

Per un mondo più buono, più giusto e tollerante...

Perché gli errori e le brutture del passato non si ripetano, ma perché non siano nemmeno dimenticati...

Per assicurare alle nostre figlie un futuro migliore...

Today is the 8th of March: it's the Women's day!

Until midnight, probably, no one will talk about other things. So, get ready.

Our rights, our job, our lives becoming more and more independent... These will be the top arguments of the day. But they will be just all talk...  

From tomorrow, everything will be the same again. We will keep on being paid less than men, being seen as objects before thinking people, being mistreated and abused even by the ones who say they love us...

We'll be able to do nothing to stop the hypocrisy of newspapers and TVs about us or to forget the (too) many victims of a bad and vicious world. But, maybe, we'll be able to try somenthing to change the future that's waiting for us.

Protecting us more; choosing to hang just with the people who really make us feel well; forgiving less; aspiring to something more, because we have one life and we need to live it in the best way; setting free from an ancient and chauvinist mentality which has killed and injured for centuries and it needs to be stopped; asking for help if we are in danger; becoming more self-centered and mysterious...

We have all the necessary equipment and numbers are by our side (on Earth, women are more than men): together we can do it.

For a rigther and more tolerant world...

So that errors and tragedies of the past won't be repeated...

To get a better future for our daughters...
